let's chase the summer and forget the world.

met my favourite girls at our annual christmas gathering at sharon's house earlier this evening, it was enjoyable as usual, just like old times. LOVE how we can laugh over nothing and everything, and even at each other HAHA!

i was writing xmas cards to the bunch of them yesterday, and before i write when i got reminded ahhh i still have to write christmas cards, it was like 2am already. and i felt damn lazy. a few days ago when i reminded myself to get xmas cards for them, i also felt damn lazy, you'll wonder why i still write year after year right?? i mean, even i wondered about that myself. but hoho, last night, i got reminded of the reason behind why i always find the effort worthwhile. it's because, it does not only let me tell them how much i love and appreciate them (its like the only chance in a year you can actually do this, i mean who will randomly write cards for your friends for nothing right), TO ME IT'S WORTHWHILE BECAUSE IT REMINDS ME OF THE FRIENDS I LOVE AND AM BLESSED WITH IN MY LIFE! :)))) there, my favourite group of friends ever since forever! and after each and every single card, i feel so thankful for that person in my life, even though we might not have met for a long time/might not know whats going on in each other's life. but it reminds me of the many reasons i love them :)

maybe thats just the reason behind why i say christmas is a time for contentment (:
